Indian Premeir League ... or we now call it International Premier League ... The Schedules are out .. It is finally being played in South Africa .. OKAY .. lets go back a little ..
BCCI opposes T20 cricket ... Then suddenly India wins the T20 worldcup ... and BCCI is going ga-ga over T20 cricket now .. It has now increased so much that they think even the GREATEST DEMOCRATIC elections of the world is on stake... This is no secret of how much security is needed to make sure we have the supposed to "fair and clear" elections. yet BCCI a.k.a Lalit Modi wants IPL to be held ... A simple question to these guys should be "Is a game more iportant than the democracy??" ...
They say IPL should be held to safegaurd the investors money! .. what a lame excuse is tht? .. to "safeguard" 8 investors who have enuf money to burn .. we are holding a billion people for ransom!
I could not understand how they can have T20 matches and expect people to come and vote? .. I would bet anyday that people would rather watch the matches than go vote ... Many people would argue the matches would be in the evening .. but what about the thousands waiting in the queues for tickets?? dont we want these guys to vote?
Also to be given a thought was if the IPL was being held in India .. and hope it doesnt but if there are any life-threatening attempts on any of the grounds .. It's the common man in the crowd who's in trouble not the investors or lalit modi or anyone concerned with the IPL.
Call if IPL v EC or Lalit Modi v Chidambaram or BCCI v EC or anything ... 1 thing is clear .. no one cares for the common man!
Yet we spend most of our lives running behind stars from whom we gain absolutely nothing!
Now that IPL is out ... and out lives more secured than if IPL was here .. Let's gear-up and spread awareness to everyone to vote. Jaagoo aur Jagao!!! .. Vote and make the difference!
